Registration is now open for the ninth edition of the Premio Fabrizio De Andrè "Talking Music". The final three nights of this year's prize Fabrizio De André "Talking Music" be held in Rome, in Piazza Fabrizio De André, between late June and early July 2010 . The Prize has always wanted and supported by the Municipality of Rome XV, is organized by Mona Lisa Ltd., under the artistic direction of journalist Massimo Cotto and Luis Melis, and the collaboration of Dori Ghezzi (as President of the Jury). FABRIZIO DE ANDRÉ AWARD will be presented by the same Massimo Cotto. These days, was launched on call for the inclusion ( totally free ) Award in all three sections "Song copyright " "Best Performer" and "Award Poetry ": the material must be received at Art Direction Award (with registered mail or courier) by April 20 for the sections "Song of author" and "Best Performer", while for the "Prize for Poetry " no later than May 10 . During the three days will be many musical guests (and only) prize, whose aim is as always to make visible and give the opportunity for new artists in the music, to perform on a stage in front of a large popular audience, in front of a panel of high professional level and beyond. Also an opportunity for new poets to be able to hear, at that stage, their works by the voice of great actors and entertainers. The Award aims to research the quality and originality, qualities required participants to express freely existing in the various musical styles, from folk to rap, from traditional ballads to rock more rampant. As in previous editions, will be given equal importance to the space devoted to poetry, expressive form in which Fabrizio De André has left unforgettable marks. REGULATION
Art. 1) : XV The Municipality of Rome, under the auspices of the Fondazione Fabrizio De André, announces the award in the epigraph (hereinafter for brevity called the "Prize").
Art. 2) : The Award aims at stimulating and promoting - from authors, composers, interpreters and performers Italian music beginners or not known to the general public - a creative free and free of trends related to fashion, to the genera and false concepts of merchantability, in order to restore the vitality and originality of artistic production.
Art. 3) : The conduct of all phases of the Prize will be led by a committee composed of at least at least three experts from the fields of music and artistic and literary; Moreover, in the final stages, this committee will be enlarged with the addition of at least three newspaper journalists and periodicals, radio and television, at least one representative of the XV Hall, and will be chaired by Dori Ghezzi.
Organization and the art direction is entrusted to the Mona Lisa srl.
Art. 4) : The Prize consists of the following three sections:
I): Award for songwriting.
II): Prize for Best Performer.
III): Prize for Poetry.
The final phase of the Prize will take place in Rome in late June and early July 2010 in Piazza Fabrizio De Andrè. In the first two nights of the finalists will perform sections "Songwriters" and "Best Performer", while people from the world of culture will read the poetry finalists. The third night, the Commission will announce the winners of the three sections that will be invited to perform on stage again .
Art. 5) : Sections Lyric copyright and Best Performer , dedicated solely to emerging artists, and not known to the general public, s ono eligible open to all performing artists of both sexes, either solo or in groups consisting of, who have sent in under a regulation at least two songs performed by them, and what are authors or coauthors. In the event that they are co-authors will be the exclusive authority of the musical or literary text, or co-authors of both those parties. In the case of bands applied for membership must be made by one representative, to expressly delegated by the group itself, and must contain the exact name of the group and the identity of its components fixed. For the purpose of verifying the condition of authors or co-authors, as indicated above, the entire collective that makes up the group is treated the same way as the individual participant.
Art. 6): PRIZE BEST SONG WRITER AND PERFORMER
will be admitted to the sections " Songwriters " and "Best Performer "all those who send the organization, by April 20, 2010, in accordance with the stipulations listed. 11, at least n. 2 pieces of their composition. The Commission, among all registered participants to Sections Lyric copyright and Best Performer will select an initial list of competitors will be invited to support the selections.
Art. 6.1) : The Choice hearings will consist of live and will be held at a date and place to be.
The finalists will be summoned by telegram or e-mail one week before the date fixed for the conduct of hearings selection. The absence of a competitor in the day and time for the hearing will lead to its exclusion from the competition. The Organization will make available to the auditions a suitable place and the technical equipment necessary. This technical equipment will be standard and will previously communicated to selected competitors. The hearing consists of the performance of up to three live tracks (the duration of which shall be agreed upon) the original repertoire each of the competitors (including the song chosen by the Organization and submitted to the competition).
Art. 6.2) : For each of the Select Commission Prize will choose from one to five participants, a maximum total of eleven, to be admitted to final phase of the award.
Art. 6.3): For sections Songwriters and Best Performer, will add another finalist chosen by the program "Free Groups" of People's Network.
Art. 6.4) : the winner of the category "Songs by Authors " will be paid the sum of € 2,000 (two thousand euro). Furthermore, the Organization of the Award will strive to promote the artist in as many promotional events as possible. The winner of the category "Best Performer " will be paid the sum of € 2,000 (two thousand euro)
Art. 6.5) : The Organization use at its sole discretion CDs sent by the participants or live recordings made during all the selections and various initiatives to achieve at its own expense any CD compilation of the award. The finalists and participants in generally undertake to grant the master and / or performances in non-exclusive license to the Organization. If the master is then used and the assumption of a possible sale, will be awarded to the artist (or band) a rate of 2% (two percent) to be calculated on the PPD CDs actually sold.
Art. 7) : PRIZE FOR POETRY
the third section, the Prize for Poetry will be eligible all those who send Organisation by May 10, 2010, according to the stipulations listed. 11, three to five poems by freely structured composition and subject of their choice.
Art. 7.1) : The Commission will select the prize at its absolute discretion an adequate number of works which will be given reading and visibility during the different phases of the Prize, after which such works may be published by the Organisation, or in person or through an Italian publishing house, in a collection of the same name to the Award .
Art. 7.2) : During the final phase of the award, a minimum of six works chosen by the Jury will be read in public, and among these will be announced the winner of Award.
Art. 7.3) The winner of the section of the Prize will be paid the sum of € 2,000 (two thousand).
GENERAL
Art. 8) : All applications for participation - penalty exclusion - must be addressed as well:

they must be received at the above address not later than :
· April 20 Award for Songwriters and the Best Performer Award ;
· on May 10 for Prize for Poetry ;
Sending Applications must be made via registered mail or courier, as confirmed in due course of shipment of the postmark date of shipment. Each envelope must show the section of the Award to which it intends to compete. The participating artists may not be subscribed to SIAE. Competitors must have completed 18 years of age at the time of submission, or should validate their application with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Art. 9) : Songs and literary texts posted in Italian or an Italian dialect, should have, To be admissible or excluded the following characteristics:
A. be new.
B. Having the implementation period not exceeding four minutes and thirty seconds;
C. not contain elements that violate the law and the rights of others, or contain advertisements for people, products or services of any kind.
Art. 10) : E 'competitors may send photos or video concerning their artistic activity. The documentation and reference material, however, will not be returned and the Organization shall be entitled to macerate at the end of the course of this year's prize.
Art. 11) : Each application form, duly filled in the form attached to these Regulations, there shall be submitted, under penalty of exclusion, all of the following documents:
a) N. 4 (four) copies of the typewritten text of each of the literary works presented, signed by the author and / or the authors and, for the section of Songwriters Award and Best Performer Award , by 'author or authors of the music (it is not necessary to send the score);
b) N. 4 (four) copies of the curriculum vitae of the participant (individual or group);
c) indication of SIAE, where it happened.
d) For Ie Sections Award Songwriters and Award for Best Performer , 3 (three) CDs containing the samples of at least two songs with the accompaniment of one instrument .
Article 12) : Subsistence expenses (accommodation and a main meal for the day of) of the participants admitted the finals of the Prize, to be held in Rome, will be charged to the organization .
Art. 13) : Finalists to Awards and the participants all listed in art. 3 state by signing the application form, you do not have anything against any claims and to the XV Municipality of Rome, the organization - and / or radio stations, television and websites involved in the execution of the Competition - disseminate their works on the press in general, over the Internet, radio, television and use and publish their image for promotional and advertising initiatives with character including, without limitation but not limited to: press operations, sponsorship, sponsorships, merchandising, etc.. The finalists also declare their availability as of now that the organization records and pour out the entries on sound recordings of any type, with possible duplication and marketing with the above conditions, as well as advertising in the press and volumes and / or collections of any kind.
Art. 14) : By making. 11 of law 675/96 relating to the protection of persons and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data, the participant consents to the processing of personal data, directly or through third parties, as well as for the entire execution of this Regulation, or to prepare studies, research, statistics and market research, or to send advertising and business information.
Art. 15) : In the period of validity of this regulation, the Organization, at its sole discretion, make additions or changes to organizational and functional needs. Mona Lisa may also, for unforeseen events or events, introduce amendments and supplements to protect and safeguard the artistic level of the award, however, except by the spirit of the premises and the articulation of the event.
A rt. 16) : Any dispute concerning the interpretation and enforcement of these Regulations shall be referred, with a special appeal to an appeal from the Arbitration Committee within a period of 3 (three) days from the time the contested measure has been brought to the party. This will, however, have direct interest in the dispute. The seat of arbitration is Rome. The appeal must be filed within the period referred to above, subject to revocation, at the Headquarters. The Arbitration - which will decide which composer friendly, without formal procedures and soon as possible - will consist of three members: one appointed by the artist (depending on whether one or the other have promoted the 'action of the Board), the second designated by the Mona Lisa and the third, acting as President, will be appointed designated by the arbitrators. During the first meeting of the Board of each party shall deposit, by delivery to the Chairman of the Board that an amount of € 1,000 (€ thousand) under Security. This amount is to be retained by the President and will be returned upon final settlement of costs and fees.
Art. 17) : As not provided for in this Regulation refers to the law of the Italian Republic.
